Some don't understand

Everything has a meaning

If you just read a little closer

Fine lines and missing words

Is more than just that

A poem

Is more than a rhyme

It is a pattern of the soul

And the mind makes it dance

Fine lines and missing words

Are not sticks and stones

A book

Someone's life

Someone's work

Someone else you can be

Fine lines and missing words

Look closer and maybe you'll see

A speech

Not only may you write

The words of wisdom

Pass it on and see what it will be

Fine lines and missing words

Are what you see

But that isn't what they are

And they aren't what some else sees either
